Different IRRI Varieties
IRRI is the long grain type of rice grown mainly in the region of Sindh in Pakistan. It has a moisture content of 14% and is known for its economical prices and excellent cooking properties. IRRI varieties have an average grain length of 6.0mm
aroma, linear elongation of twice of its grain size & soft dry fluffy texture upon cooking. Basmati varieties have an average grain length of 6.5mm & more respectively.
